Psychedelic Rock is a form of rock music that emerged in early 1966 combining blues rock and folk rock with "eastern" influences such as Indian music and Indo Jazz (itself influenced by Indian music), as well as Western Art Music, particularly musique concrete. Along with psychedelic pop, psychedelic rock can be considered the first form of Art Rock, though Art Rock proper emerged at roughly the same time.
