Eric Clapton is justly famous as the Greatest British Blues Guitarist of All Time. However, as a member of Cream, Clapton played a role in the evolution of psychedelic blues rock, jazz rock and even art rock. And as a guitarist he helped popularize guitar effects that have become fundamental to pop rock music.
